32 Channel Optically Isolated Digital Card

Main Features:


  • 16 or 8 optically-isolated, non-polarized CMOS compatible digital inputs accept ±31VDC or AC rms
  • IRQ on input change of state (COS) eliminates the need for constant polling
  • Slow/fast filter to accommodate AC voltages and noisy DC inputs
  • 16 or 8 optically-isolated fully protected high-current sourcing solid state outputs

  • 0 to 70°C and -40 to +85°C versions available
  • Economy version without COS feature

Isolated Digital Inputsgital I/O:


  • INumber of inputs: Sixteen
  • Type: Non-polarized, optically isolated from each other and from the computer. (CMOS compatible)
  • Voltage Range: 3 to 31 DC or AC (40 to 10000 Hz)
  • Isolation: 500V*(see manual) channel-to-ground or channel-to channel
  • Input Resistance: 1.8K Ohms in series with opto coupler
  • Response Time: 4.7 mSec w/filter, 10 µSec w/o filter (typical)
  • Interrupts: Software controlled with jumper IRQ selection (models 104-IDIO-16 and 104-IDIO-8)



Isolated Digital Outputs:


  • Number of outputs: Sixteen Solid State FETs (off @ power up).
  • Output Type: High Side Power MOS FET Switch.
  • Protection Features: Protected against short circuit, over-temperature, ESD, can drive inductive loads.
  • Voltage Range: 5-34VDC recommended (user supplied) for continuous use, 40VDC absolute max.
  • Current Rating: 2A maximum.
  • Turn-on time: 90usec
  • Turn-off time: 110usec




  • Interrupts: Software controlled with jumper IRQ selection (models 104-IDIO-16 and 104-IDIO-8)


Power Required:

  •  +5VDC @ 0.150A (all FETs ON)
