EPS-Tech's System integration department is one of the company’s backbones that provide Integration services for the entire range of embedded computing products that we provide.

System integration is preformed on the various system platforms - industrial PC, VME, CPCI/2.16 , and custom. All popular operating systems are supported. The system integration department work according to ATP documents prepared by engineering and functionally test and run the system per detailed specifications. Based upon customers request, application software may be loaded, and the systems may run overnight with proprietary test setups. Test reports are generated - and kept on record. Standard or customized reports are provided to our customers upon request.

  EPS-Tech is the only system house in Israel that has an independant mechanical production facility.
 
The mechanical production facility is equipped with state of the art Punching/bending/grinding/milling machines as well as with all additional required equipment to produce top quality mechanical packaging.

The strategic decision to invest in an independent facility was taken in year 2000 by management in order to have full control over the chain of supply, and over the many delicate processes required to produce top quality turn-key systems for the electronic industry.

When it comes to fast turnaround production or mechanical prototyping, EPS-Tech's customers enjoy the highest level of service that the market provides, as designs are released directly from engineering CAD systems to production with no time wasted.

  Shielding solutions - Form in place dispensing of conductive gaskets

   
 

EPS-Tech offers unique EMI shielding solutions with in-house facility for form in place technology!

 

Xyshield® 'form-in-place' technology allows intricate, small cross-section gaskets to be dispensed directly onto enclosures. Dispensing via a CNC process, eliminates the need for expensive, complex mould tools.

The gasket materials are silicone elastomers, loaded with electrically conductive particles for EMI shielding gaskets and non-conductive for purely environmental seals.

 

Xyshield® cures and adheres 'in-situ' to form a resilient and reusable EMI/environmental seal. The gaskets cure at room temperature, making the process compatible with plastic housings or heat sensitive components.

Typical applications include cellular phone handsets, 'shield cans', communication base stations, connector housings, and complex 3D enclosures.

 

EPS-Tech dispenses the Xyshield® material as a service on parts provided by the customer, or incorporates the dispensing process as part of complete mechanical turn-key solutions.

Our mechanical application-engineering department is in direct contact with RFI-SHIELDING in England and receives full technical support for material selection and dispensing process.

EPS-Tech offers Turn-key Front panel production and assembly services for the many systems that we produce.
 
Depending on quantities, functionality, and costs the production technologies may vary from:

  • Extruded aluminum (machined or stamped). 
  • Stamped sheet metal.
  • Aluminum cast - including fixed part of extraction latch. (produced in the far-east)

Most front panels are Alodine plated for internal conductivity, while external surface may be selectable anodized, painted, and silkscreen printed. Alternative options such as adhesive overlays, or external plastic injected molded covers are available.

Front panel assemblies may be supplied kitted or fully assembled and may include injection/extraction latches Micro switch, RFI gaskets, and fixing hardware produced by EPS-Tech strategic Partner companies.

Based on the high quality standard product line of Teko plastic enclosures from Italy ,
Or designed around fully customized and tooled enclosures, EPS-Tech offers plastic enclosure solutions.
Depending on the application requirements, the enclosure solutions may include :

  • Basic enclosure - standard or customized with all I/O openings. 
  • Painting/silk screen printing.
  • Special EMI/RFI and/or environmental sealing if required.
  • Production/Assembly of internal circuitry to be placed in the enclosure.
  • Final assembly and testing of product.
